A "take no prisoners" negotiating approach is still practiced by dictators in third world countries, but it has little relevance in the workplace.
The above saying is true in only one scenario: monopoly where one party has all the wining cards and the other has nothing and this is a rare case in negotiation.
The orange bulb and peel is a more practical approach and implies a win-win situation with 100% satisfaction of both parties.
One takes the bulb to make juice, and the other takes the peel to make a cake, so they divided the orange but in a smart way to achieve 100% satisfaction without compromise.
Thanks
Partly agree, this kind of negotiation is a part of other successful strategies, some negotiations aim to add cost but win a great profits.
I guess it a super-massive technique or to just thinking about your own self. I believe in win win situation while negotiating.
The best is to have a win-win situation. This way everybody is happy.
There is hardly any negoiation in which visible compromise can't be seen. The winer takres all syndrome is true.........because it shows peak performance, a winner's streak and an upbeat attitude.
Access to negotiations means that both sides will not bring out one of them losersBecause if any party feels that the loss will not complete the negotiation
Thanks for invitation,
Agree with our colleagues replays and that the good negotiator who always believes in Win WIn situation as a successful and efficient negotiation.
True say if I'm looking for a hit and run not a long term business relationship. Anyway its not my wayM
Mostof the time we must compromise during negotiations, if I'm looking for a long term customer, so that's the way, give and take as long as Im looking for a target keeping it and winning, so it is, the best is to reach what would keep my customer a regular one, keep coming over and more, be one a regular customer of mine and probably I'm his only best supplier
If I'm looking for a hit and run so the statement works and true
