For eg. Third party company instructors sometimes drive themselves to the client location/ Plants for training delivery and after full session of a day he has to drive back and continue the routine for a longer period due to the duration of the Project.
Aside from keeping hydrated and the points Obaid and Said have shared, I found the 20 minute power nap in complete darkness during lunch break recharges my batteries. Usually during lunch breaks everyone takes time out to catch up with work and other things, thus not really getting any rest.
This midday recharge works wonders especially for trainers or business analysts/system analysts who are working with clients in User Requirement gathering sessions. A light meal and a quick 20 mins silence shut eye clearing the mind of everything, is a good tool to try - always works for me.
As Operations manager when things are intense and on an adrenalin rush, I tell my people if I see signs of fatigue to take a 20-30min power nap - I rather have a temporary resource off the floor than that person causing themselves and others injury due to fatigue.
When i conduct full days session, for me, physical stress is a bit tough then mental stress as i love to do that. but yes, we plan regular brakes b/w those sessions to avoid stress/fatigue.

Almost every organization review the training plans before conducting by all possibilities for effectiveness. Unfortunately if any lapse persist there like fatigue / stress due to long term training, that may be manged by the Trainer's proactive approach.
The point raised by dear Obaid ur Rehman is absolutely valid.
If accommodation is not included in the package and no way to be included (even from your own pocket) then you have to apply time management skills and setting priorities such as:
- Have a full night sleep
- Don't drink a plenty of coffee or tea as caffeine stimulates at the beginning then depresses at end.
- Make good use of the breaks and use it to have good rest and do not allow for questions or chit chat to consume it while standing or walking.
- Be brief in debates and do not allow discussions to go out of topic to turn into personal debates.
- Have your meals on time and start your day with good breakfast.
- Drink enough water to avoid dehydration.
- If you have to stop for any reason use it as break for you to get some rest.
- Ask trainees to help you maintain order by sticking to schedule and come on time to avoid delays.
Research has shown that one hour of preparation saves three hours of performance. So prepare, prepare , prepare.

At the onset let me share my thought in this regard. Any activity which is engaging with the trinees will never give any stress / fatigue . we need to do the session in such a way that it should be two way communications . Incase if its a one way traction then stress / fatigue comes in picture . Incase if the sessions are quite long ( More then 3 hours ) in this case we will make some Yoga practice or funfill engagement which will relax the trainee .

Delegate tasks & get your trainees busy in an activity while you can set down for a while
An effective trainer knows how to manage fatigue/stress during long term training project. After a light meal in the lunch break, I sit in a comfortable place in greenery if possible and listen to soft music by closing eyes for 15 to 20 minutes. This process will recharge the body and mind and gives the energy to work 8 hours more with concentration.
Other alternative is to have a nap of 15 to 20 minutes after a light meal.
As an Instructor/Trainer and haven been in this situation on many occasions, I've found that pre-planning and amper sleep the day/night before helps maintain a readiness state of mind as well as effect a positive outcome for the students and my colleagues. Also, it helps to identify opportunities to rest your body, lift your feet up and catch a nap during the day if time permits.
The Instructor/Trainer can manage his fatigue/stress by the time management. he should mange his time.
Fatigue and Stress are just emotions or mere perceptions of the mind which is controlled when the magic hat is filled with knowledge and tricks.
