I've recently presented a research paper on the subject of project management.
I haven't finished yet my blog about it but anyone can take a peek : http://intelligentsustainbility.wordpress.com/

Amazing, what a wonderful accomplishment, a combination of client, target and communication strategy.
Excellent co-ordination in Synergy group with different timezone followed the sun.
Thanks for sharing.

I've had projects with complexities that would render the amount of space given here too little, and which would probably exhaust anyone's attention span.
There is one I'd like to share.
This project wasn't so complex in nature, rather in the process my team and I had to come about it.
The task was to come up with a billboard and print ad.
It was for legal services.
My client was American, the target were Hispanic people, and I currently reside in Asia.
It all started with the client briefing through email and skype (unfortunately, mobile services in my country aren't as reliable as I'd like it to be.) Then came the research part where I had to rely on Google and my vast network of people: Luckily, I had enough Hispanic contacts.
Once the client and I were in accord with our communication strategy, I enlisted the help of a local (Philippine) designer and a native Spanish speaking copywriter who happened to be in South America.
The next challenge was the photography.
Usually I would coordinate with local photographers -- local pertaining to where my client was from -- for my Australian clients, I would commission photographers in Australia, similarly American clients needed photographers the US.
It was not so much how good the photographers were but more of the availability of their subject matter.
This time, we decided it would be cheaper and faster (and better) to purchase an image from an online stock photography library.
The project went without a hitch because of very good communication between all parties concerned.
This doesn't seem much, but take a while to consider that all parties were in different time zones.
Yes I had to adjust my sleeping patterns.
But with careful planning, we got the ad done within a decent amount of time and at half the cost.
I think it illustrates the basic fundamental importance of time management and open communication lines that are crucial to any project.
The resulting advertising material were then forwarded to a state-side printing press for the billboard preparation and the publication run.
