Empathy, not sympathy, forces us to dive into another person's environment to uncover unmet needs, motivations, behavior and frustrations resulting from that environment. A marketer or a design thinker will derive much more valuable data using empathize methods that the traditional customer research.

The function of marketing and promotion is based on these behavioral sciences, but the application of these sciences varies from one company to another and from one society to another. , Because in the free economy and capitalist economy the company manager is the owner of the project / or is appointed by the entrepreneur with powers and high authorities.
Team productivity low? High workplace conflict? Tough to move things forward? These are all lag measures of an empathy deficit.
Empathy is really about being aware of, and even experiencing, the feelings and thoughts of others. The ability to empathize impacts employee engagement, retention and performance.
Though the concept of empathy might contradict the modern concept of a traditional workplace—competitive, cutthroat, and with employees climbing over each other to reach the top— the reality is that for business leaders to experience success, they need to not just see or hear the activity around them, but also relate to the people they serve.
Empathy must be the driving force behind business communication. The door for empathy opens when we suspend our disbeliefs and openly engage new ideas. Relationship-focused success expands capacity and potential, and empathy is a business skill that actually grows when practiced and shared. Empathy in the workplace creates and encourages sharing ideas free from the fear of ridicule. If we are to keep our businesses relevant and our consumers happy, we must embrace empathy and let it be the force that drives us forward.
I do believe that being empathetic towards people may help you to understand the people better and in fact help you to generate suitable products which may be of disruptive nature. There are so many factors that make a disruptive product that literally kills or even slows down the market of existing product and empathy can be considered to be one among the other factors. The more you understand your prospect, it is easier to develop a product which can satisfy their exact need. The second part of your question is not clear to me. Hence cannot arrive at an answer.

That is an excellent question and I am glad you gave me the time and space to add my view! I agree that empathy is the key to making markets more beneficial to customers and by that generating revenues for the companies in the end. But as I mentioned the time structure of today's markets is to start generating revenues as soon as possible and at a second step make appealing products and services for the customers. The best way to approach any market is the way you mention in your question about empathy, and my opinion is that in our business culture we have succeeded to use it less and less based on similar results of the past and we do not use all the proper steps to create a market. The problem of modern business marketing strategy lies with the little time they think they have to be competitive. But in conclusion if it was up to me to make a new trend in the market I would focus on empathy as much as possible and not just to create a market but to better myself as entrepreneur and business person by becoming a better human being as a whole! We must learn to appreciate our environment and those who are in it!!!
A lot of inventions in the world were invented because the inventors felt a certain amount of empathy and that drove them to do something that was different, something that was never done before and due to that it changed the world and the lifestyle of people completely, think of things like electricity for consumption or the telephones for communicating, these things drove people to think of solutions and come up with out of the box ideas that they sometimes even faced ridicule but today we are taught about them in institutions of education as what they made had a huge impact on our lives. There is an old saying that invention is the result of need and companies that tap into this area, to try and think like actual people and to address their needs or in fact even come up with solutions that can revolutionize the whole life style are the companies that make a mark and succeed. Who we refer to as market leaders.
A successful leadership in the hands of a successful leader will always experiment to relate his thoughts, emotions, and self experience with the same features of his subordinates and will be on a continuous experiment to enhance them to the required levels so that conflicts in the team or interpersonal conflicts or men boss conflicts can be avoided to the maximum. This will also stimulate the level of motivation and a better way to exert the maximum in the form of efficiency. It is actually understand and support your men rather than going on analyzing their weaknesses and highlight them directly and make them a dissatisfied feeling.
