QA applies to many parts of the supply chain which can include packaging, presentation, even the way an item is shipped. The customer experience needs to be a joyous one. This will ensure repeat business and a longer life for the business.
The SCM should always use random sampling of processes to ensure consistency in process and standards.
This is the general look on Supply Chain. SC is in general a Total Quality Management (TQM) system that allows every person to do his part of the work at its best. Its like a race with multiple players where you need to pass the stick to the other person. You need to do your part in a good quality way for the other player to perform so until you get to a better quality ending.
