Thank you for the invitation

I do not see it as a threat at all,

Each Business has its own nature and requirements which has to be analyzed and considered well.

Also as stated by Mr. Hatem Bata we should weigh the benefits against the costs of outsourcing before making any judgement on it.

Outsourcing is practiced in all over the world from more than decade,  It has pros and cons but based on the business requirements and demands it need to be analyzed accordingly.  For me i will be considering it as a measure of cost control and risk sharing.

Hello,

I agree with with Mr. Manzoor and would like to mention that this is ca not be generalized, each entity can evaluate what is the best of it, also this is an approach in management among other options that may lead for more concentration on the core competency. but to consider it as a threat, i do not support this statement, in fact I support is as an opportunity.

Best Regards

Most of us keep asking ourselves the same questions: What's to come? What's in future? And what if we change the way we are today? To be adapted to the outsourcing culture a procurement professional who's having a wide knowledge of supply chain management can be fit in any area even the business has changed the way it is, I believe.

There's just one proven method it is to acquire required knowledge even while the environment is changing.

I think in order for the procurement professionals to overcome the future threat of out-sourcing, they need to have the following:

·         They need to obtain certifications or any licenses that these out-sourcing organizations can offer.

·   They need to have a worthy ROI analysis for any out-sourcing initiatives and possible alternate recommendations.

·         Collaborate to other Supply Chain professionals to gain connections.
