Well that's a battle for evry user. From experience i prefer NIKON as i used Nikon low budget DSLR's D40, D60, D3000, D3100 and high budget D7000 and D750. Wheter its Photography or Videography i found Nikon best all the way. Color depth and sharpness is amazing.
While on the other hand i used Canon 350D, 550D, 40D and high budget 5D MarkII and 6D as well. But not satified results.
Nikon is a budget camera for anyone.
I saw some great reslts from Sony cameras like A7RII and FUJI XT-1 mirroless cameras. But It costs too high.

All DSLR Cameras are perfect however you know what you want from your device.
For my personal expierence NIKON is Outdoor (Perfect ) and Canon is Indoor ( Perfect).

Well Many companies have very good DSLR cameras it depends on the specs a photographer is looking for. In my own opinion I am a Canon fan. I buy their products and always look forward to their news.
There are lots of company who does better cameras out there but it really doesnt matter how great their camera is. What importtant is you get what you really need.
Each camera is unique with their own features it's hard to say which one is the best. Everyone prefers different companies such as Nikon, Canon, Fujifilm, Sony and more. Each one has its pros and cons, and depending on preferences of an individual certain DSLR company would be the best for them depending on the price, quality, features, size etc.
