i am going to joining a course on analytics ..it is useful
Analytics stands for Analusis of the subject. For Data Analytics R programming, SAS, Python, mechine learning and MS excel are highly required skillset. The one looking to work in such domain need to have either anyone or more than one subject knowledge. I does prefer R, because it is the best option in all analytics courses.
