As much as i would like to say it is important but look around - was Google, Facebook, Amazon, Alibaba, Uber, Tencent, lazada, Apple, Microsoft and many more new Fortune 500 companies was built based on Job analysis? The answer is no. Alot of companies are looking for candidate that can THINK OUT OF THE BOX and this does not require job analysis. Job analysis was a past trend and now what we need is Future analysis since job analysis is looking at NOW and not the future.
