Why do people fear retirement, especially in the public sector?

This is because the retirement pension in the public sector is much lower than that of the private sector. Especially since advantages and pension benefits  such as pensions and life insurance and medical care, retirement allowance and in-kind benefits are less important in the public sector

Simply because they will not get the Pension after Retirement.
