Which are the vital performance indicators that you measure?

Every business has KPI's and you need to name as I work in different sectors and responsible for all Supply Chain it is many to be written in a small box.

·        Efficiency of procurement process

·        Openness and transparency of the procurement process

·        Professionalism of the procurement workforce

·        Contract management and supplier performance

However, Delivery, Quality and Cost Savings are also major Key Performance measure for the procurement.

Essetial to know the quarter the business belongs and the position into the organization.

Answering directly bearing in mind "vital" and a corporate organization I would say: Savings in a period of time and the cash flow increasing.

For me, the  major KPIs 1) Cost (in terms of savings), 2) Schedule (Delivery Timeline), 3) Quality 4) Evaluation Process 5) Addition of Competitive Supplier etc. 6) Efficiency in contract closure etc. on which Procurements can be measured periodically.  Also, we need to set the weight for the Complaints and its severity against supplier (if any) that happened for a specific period of time.
