Following are the main differences between AC and DC supply.
1. DC (Direct Current) is constant and moves in one direction where as AC (Alternating Current) changes over time in an oscillating repetition.
2. Frequency of DC voltage or current is always zero whereas AC can be generate in various frequencies.
3. For DC power factor always 1 whereas for AC it can be vary between 0 and 1
Alternate current and direct current. Alternate current are 360 degree, Direct current are 180 degree.
A.C means Air Conditioner
D.C means Deputy Commissioner
hehe (joking)
direct current is constant
altrneting current is changeble
AC has frequency , DC not
DC is constant , AC is changeable
AC Alternative Current
DC Direct Current
. In direct current (DC), the electric charge (current) only flows in one direction. Electric charge inalternating current (AC), on the other hand, changes direction periodically. The voltage in AC circuits also periodically reverses because the current changes direction.
