but do you think gathering employees from the same back ground and same education in specific departments is right?
The prime objective of HR is to provide the best possible resourcee to the organization. We (HR) should not spying the resource. The combination of resource from different culture, background is the beauty of organization.
It’s normal; there is no need to gather the same profile individual. There is a position specification for each place and we need to induct the best suitable candidate. But yes, it is recommended to rotate the employee after few years within various departments so that have job enlargement and retain with organization.
In today's environment, new challenges are coming and for this your group should be multicultural and diverse. It gives you more insight and will promote healthy environment in which everyone gives respect to others point of view. It gives creativity in the group as well as in the company. Static Group will not grow as it contains same mind set and think in one direction.
First of all, I do not agree with the view that the employees from the same background and same education should remain present in the same department/ division. Why such discrimination should exit in the company and it is a negative thinking against the corporate culture. The real scenery should be the combination of all background/ profile/education and more so, prevailing multicultural norms so that cohesive bondage may grow among the members of department.
