How can I offer my translation services from home, other than freelancing?

Look for translation offices locally in your area and give them your email address, only email address, and ask them to send you jobs over the email and you can call them back to discuss rates and payment before you do the work.

Search the internet for local translation service providers and contact them with your time, rates and speciality (technical translation always more expenssive)
