Hi Maya
Good Afternoon. Thank you for your question.
I think writing for the web is different from that on printed paper. There are5 major differences. They are as follows:
1) Web-writers expect immediate feedback and/or response by the targeted readers or any viewers;
2) the content of the writing is not presented and proofread as much as that in the printed writing;
3) Web-writers focus more - out of storeis - on influencing the reader and getting his/her attention more than that in the printed writing where information and perspectives are presented;
4) Designs at printing houses are time-consuming and prolonged as per the texture and nature of paper, etc...
5) COST is very crusial and this makes many writers prefer the web-writing.
Good Luck
Yours,
Hayan Hamzeh
Thanks for your invitation
I agree with the teachers answers
The difference is about target audiance
When writing for a printed outlet you are targeting a specific audience, while posting online is for the whole wide audience, so you have to be much more informative, and presenting a basic background of information for the topic you write about.
Thanks for your question.
The common difference between web writing and print writing is as follows:
Web writing is a better market than print because of its variety reasons; such as stability, less learning curve and a whole lot more, with simplicity writing form which published world wide web, while print writing is the older form of writing, isn't interactive, typically longer and more formal than web writing.
