Many great personalities have shown to the world that they had the guts to come up in life and very successful in spite of their poverty during school days. Hence for a determined student and people poverty may not be an obstacle for education.

I think. Yes, I believe it does, but not necessarily in a negative sense. Some examples that come into my mind of poor but very creative artists are Van Gogh, Modigliani, Utrillo. Of course, you might say that for some of them poverty was a result of their personality and mental condition, factors which could also influence their creativity. So, believing that in their case poverty and creativity go together might be just fallacious thinking, the cum hoc ergo propter hoc fallacy, which could be briefly explained as „with this, therefore because of this”. But I strongly believe that a mentally healthy, intelligent person could enhance his/hers creative abilities - as a means of survival - in an hostile environment of which poverty could be one factor among others. What I do not believe is the fact that sudden occurring poverty in an educated person s life could bring an improvement of creativity before that person develops some sort of depression.

Education could be formal or informal. Formal education has been a challenge to the poor most especially at the higher levels. Despite financial and other challenges it should not be an obstacle to education as several avenues are available to all to access tuition free educational packages.

Poverty has also been reposible for low development levels in most part of the world. But in reality object or absolute poverty do not exist hence it should not be an obstacle to development.

There is no world without trouble but no trouble without solution. There are bound to be challenges but should not be obstacles instead source of determination which is an absolute drive towards success; education and development.
