A person can be more successful than others in his field of work if what he minds is only how he can explore and learn things and enjoy working. He takes the task as a new learning without complaining. He will not mind other people's business because what's important to him is how he can do his task properly and efficiently.

Demonstrate willingness to work, improve, and take big responsibilities. 

Main thing is not to compare yourself with others. Other people are other people. They have their own different path of life. You have compare yourself with yourself yesterday. Everyday is a chance to become better than yesterday. Every day you can make at least one small step towards better yourself. Ask yourself what you can do today to become better than yesterday. And start doing it. As was said by ancient Greek philiospher Aristotle "We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit", implement this one-step-a-day habbit into your life, and you will become successful, you will become the best in your field of work.

Steve Jobs became the man behind digital revolution, bacause he think , planned things differently, He was ejected but returned to the helm successfully setting up Pixar and NeXT, revolutioning Apple. Wright Brothers flown on the sky, since they had the passion, courage also thought differently. You have so many names and characters.
