If you are a hiring manager for a marketing position, would you consider more the personal skills or the educational qualification?

Yes I would consider the personal skills more than the educational qualifications ebcaues I would be looking at someone who can think out of the box and not someone who has learned few techniques in university.

I believes it comes to the work experience and the personal skills more than the education. As the ability to react to different situations and make effective decisions comes from the experience in the market and market knowledge. Of course the education is very important but a lot of people might fail to translate the theoretical knowledge into actions in the business.
