In interview for a promotion with owner,what is best answer for,what do you prefer: be in same position with good increment or take the new position?

Hi, Often the fixed position is the most appropriate solution. Then comes the analysis of the new situation to get a new position.

It depends on position ( old and new ) itself, because it might be new position with same high salary, so you will get both.

In my opinion, I will choose the same position if I am not doing what I planned for yet ( for me and for the position), If I did already so I will choose the new position in order to apply my new plans.
