It is a book written by Alan Paton and it entailed the life of a rural child who comes to the city and gets overwhelmed by the event associated to a big city. The underlying aspect of the book taught perseverance, humilty, caution.... but moreso the book aligned to my actual life experiences when I left my home country to settle in South Africa.
