offshore engineering are projects conducted in the oil projects or sea projects.

Onshore engineering are projects conducted in the land such as building warehouse

Offshore engineering is an engineering project that carries out offshore on floating structure such oil rig, supply vessel, FPSO or drill ship. Whilst on onshore engineering is about engineering project that is performed on a shore such as a warehouse or shore project (example ship building, ship repair & maintenance etc.)

Shore means sea shore so on shore is technically land and offshore means mobile platforms ,oil rigs or it also be a near coastal vessel operations
