In a corporate communication always use a professional language because in some ways we are documenting the correspondence and email is one of the official document that would be store as an evidence.

Formal diction language to be used when writing official emails and avoid using abbreviations and slang. Instead Awesome use wonderful or fantastic.

The word 'awesome' is depictive of a young workforce and an informal workplace. While most large organisations having a formal set of values would not recommend using the word 'awesome' in a corporate communication with a client or with other colleagues, it can not be an industry-wide rule to follow. However, the use of the word should be limited ONLY to conditions that open up the conversation to an informal equation. For example, use of the word 'awesome' in an ad agency will be very common even amongst learned and experienced professionals who head the firm. This could be a way of motivating the employee, connecting with an ever-increasing younger work-base or simply, a sign of good rapport which has been established over a period of time. To extend it to other terms in general language, informal terms can be used in an informal work environment, whilst larger corporations and client interactions should be largely formal in line with company policies.

I do not find any good reason why to use 'awesome' in corporate formal e-mail and it is not appropriate to use such kind of word also. Every corporate has got own culture and CIP. They have their own style and practices.Formal business template is most appropriate in business communication.
