Yes, it does. Reading books or any other useful information helps a lot to improve the language skills, especially at that age, when are you stepping on your next level.
It will improve reading skills only. Without understanding the meaning of words, reading cannot improve the command over the language.
Hi
Reading English books at a young age does help the English learners for many reasons. First, some young learners are very eager to learn a new language. Second young people are always ambitious to learn a new language since many of them have great desire to travel abroad to ensure a bright future, and third, they are lively and have a great energy to allocate as long time as the need to read and practice. But besides all that young learners and any other learner regardless ages should understand what they read, otherwise they can't develop their language. I mean young learners and any other leaders should try hard to understand what they read at least some essential words, expressions, and sentences and they should add some new words to their vocabulary each time they read even a few words.
I think yes, that help him to pronunciation firstly
I think it definitely reduces the fear and stigma of the language in non English speaking peoples' minds. Over a period of time it will help them grow more proficient and adept at mastering other languages too.
YES i beleive it helps because even though the child does not understand the word at that moment, his or her subcconcious mind has stored it and for most children, it will push them to search for the meaning. So indirectly, the language will be develpoed in the futur.I am a living example.
No, I don't think so...................
