Core journalistic skills such as content creation and managing information are prized in other sectors where communication skills are important, says Richard Sambrook. Jo Price adds, "in a world where the internet has enabled citizen journalism to flourish, there's an even greater pressure for professional journalists to remain a trusted source of information."

If you want my advise,
I Say,
If you can be neutral, and if you can only Express the opinion of the newspaper in which you work, then you can consider that journalism a good career choice.
Otherwise you can not.
For me i can not,
Depends on the desire of the person and his passion in the field .. But the press is a very enjoyable task .. And every day in a new journey and a new issue and a different community. Especially as the journalist deals with issues and experiences affecting the whole society.
A lot depends on what you expect from the job.
For example, if you don't like working in an office, you love travelling and if you are creative, Journalism is a great career.
However, if you expect to make a lot of money, then it might not be a great choice unless you become really famous that news channels come after you offering employment.
This is a career for people who are very passionate about reporting news, events and travelling/meeting people
I think it is a good and effective profession in building societies if facts are provided and not lies for fame or money, because the word is a great secretariat to build or destroy societies
