A job interview is a face-to-face interview with a member of the company you have applied for. And a means of getting to know the candidates for the job or the successful candidates who were invited to a second interview.
The most important recommendations for the success of the interview must candidate for the job to:
-Enough information about your organization or company.
-Know the type of job and its responsibilities.
-Good preparation for delivering a clear and concise concept when answering questions.
-Attention to the external appearance.
-Adherence to time.

What are the most important job interviews do's and don'ts?
Do’s
1. Understand the topography of the city to reach destination with minimum efforts and ease.
2. Do read the contents of the job profile advertised by the company.
3. Be presentable. Neat and clean.
4. Shoes polished.
5. Neck- tie may be put if the nature of job demands. e.g. Front office Executive.
6. Reach 15 minutes prior to the scheduled time at the venue of the interview.
7. Keep one updated CV ready with you.
8. Keep one set of all photocopies of educational documents ready.
9. Keep one set of photocopies of address proof, PAN card and driving licence, passport etc. ready.
10. Keep last 3 months’ salary slips with you along with the photocopy of the appointment letter for the last job.
11. In case the panel asks a question which does not belong to your field of specialization, say,” I know that is very important subject, but you never had opportunity to study that, so you would like to excuse yourself.”
12. Be particular about language and choosy about words

Don’ts
1. Enter Interview room and greet the panel with salutation appropriate and a smile.
2. When you enter the interview room do not be in hurry to occupy the chair, wait for instructions from panel
3. Always try to understand the questions in right context, in case of doubt get that clarified. But do not request panel to repeat or clarify every second question.
4. Face the panel and answer the question peacefully but avoid looking into the eyes of panel member to show your supremacy.
5. If you happen to disagree with the opinion expressed by panel, please put your views politely, acknowledging that you respect their views.
6. Do not change your views because someone in higher position has different views. Of course, if you like the logic, do be prepared to change your opinion.
7. Do not bank upon any hear say but go by supporting documents.

Answer every question with a simple “yes” or “no” answer.
