Self-confidence, trust an encourage are the most important factors that the manager and the leader should convey to the promising employee in order to make him an initiator of fertile ideas.
This, I think, is the most complicated thing for each supervisor. When you treat a worker as a human being, sooner or later begins to show his talent. Talks about how workers can perform a task or what can be improved have a great impact on staff. Me personally, when I have time, I put "gloves" and work with my people. So I understand which one can develop and where I can help.

Develop their weakness,offer them a simple thanks after complete some tasks,let them participate in decision making.improve their development plan.
Every employee has a different skill set to their strengths play to their strenthgs and develop their weakness here you will have to be a situational leader know where to give directives and where to support sometimes we do not empower our employess and keep them leashed to high directives where they donot express the thought and ideas.
So put an effort to know your employees better and you will see the talent bench building for the progress of team and company
An empoyer should show his employees that he values their opinions and ideas. Employees who feel that they are valued by their bosses tend to develop love for their work and for the company as well. With this, they do not just follow instructions and orders but they voice out their thoughts and ideas. Knowing that they are valued, they are inspired to always put their best foot forward in all that they do at work. Until one day, you don't even have to order them to do something, they will do it themselves and do even more than what you expect them to do.
