What is the two most important tool of management to desperately achieve goal?

Utilization of a CRM software to follow up on various opportunities at different progress stages in addition, effective daily briefing meetings in which we recap historical activities and determine next actions.

To achieve a goal you must:

1) Know what that goal is.  I mean really KNOW.

2) Have a strategy that is likely to take you from here to the goal

You think that sounds too simple?  OK, get all the people in your team/department/project in a room and ask them to write down what the goal of the team is.  Now the strategy.   No more than 16 words in total for the two answers.  If you are not willing to bet your job that ALL of the the answers will be pretty much the same, then you haven't completed 1) and 2) above......
