Build your product/service which is better efficient than its existing alternatives. Your customers will market it for you!
First is always to extend a warm welcome, a lot of people forget this but to me this is very important and is the first stone in building a customer/business relationship.
Understand the requirement, let the customer speak as much as possilbe with little interruptions as possilbe whilst giving it your undivided attention, in case of emails, a prompt reply is highly appreciated.
Look at how you can provide a solution to their problem or what product you can offer that can fulfil that need. It could also be that you may have a blog or something entirely different so you should always focus on delivering quality and as well as value.
Offer customer valuable advice that will genuinely help him/her. This will help to convert the cusotmer if the customer feels that you are genuinely interested in helping them out rather than pushing an expensive product for them to buy.
Look at analytics and use tactics to enhance your conversion ratio by optimizing areas which can help convert more customers, fresh content if you are a blog, a refresh of design to make it more UI friendly, Using heat maps you can determine what areas are the most attention grabbing and use those areas to put vital information or call to action links. There are quite a lot more but these are the basics.

There is not any 'right' way, or the 'best' way for successful inbound marketing strategy. Testing and experience is the real key to any inbound marketing strategy. While testing your strategies there are some factors that you should keep an eye on.
1. Create & target the most relevent target audience
Let's face it, if you specialize in some software and you target an audience who's interested in fisheries then you really need to work on your persona. Best thing is to sit and ask who might be interested in your product? Ask your customer around. Check their backgrounds.
If you don't have reach, dive into your Google analytics account check the geo-location, gender, age, mobile device, and most importantly affinity of the users coming onto your website. It will give you a very good idea about whom to target.
2. Create & Publish Compelling Blog Frequently
Once you identify your persona, drill down into their problem. What problem they might be facing that should intrigue them to look into your product? What is their pain point?
The best way to identify the problem? Go swimming and fight the sea of relevant online communities with active users sharing their problems.
Once you identify the problem. Double check if your product does actually provides the solution. Be honest at this stage because if your product does not provide the solution and you still cater the audience then you will lose credibility.
Once you have identified the problem and checked for the solution, it is time to do some keyword research and come up with rich long tail keywords with decent search volumes.
If you are certain that the problem exists but there is no keyword for it, still, come up with the topic idea because guess what? You are blogging for YOUR audience not for search engines!
3. Focus On Generating LEADS
That's the core of every business! Generating quality leads! So you come up with a great article about the pain point of your persona and people are coming to your blog via social media, organic search, and from referral websites. What's next? Diversion is the key.
You need to have some relevant CTAs (Call To Actions e.g. graphic and text) placed at suitable place to compel your readers to take action. Be sure to place a GTM (Google Tag Manager) code at every CTA to target the performance of it.
If someone comments on your blog then reply instantly because no one comes back to read your reply any time soon!
4. Don't Be Shy To Take Help of Effective Tools
Coming over every day at office and posting links daily might get frustrated because building links is a hard task. Tools like Hootsuite, Buffer, Ahrefs, SEMrush gives you an advantage and saves a lot of time.
I use HotJar for analysing user behavior through their interaction with the page. I get an idea about what section of the page isn't performing and what portion gets the most click from the user!
It will give you an idea which things need amendments to make it more relevant for the users.
5. Focus Focus Focus on ROI
That's important. ROI is the output of your experiments and efforts.
If you write up a post, create a landing page, or run a campaign on social media, but do not check the metrices set against it then you are likely to fail big time.
I remember writing a blog post and then didn't bother to check the ROI and got busy in other important stuff. After days I got to check the performance of the blog post and I was surprised how well the blog post was performing WITHOUT any SEO efforts.
It was ranking on the first page, it catered organic traffic of+ on its own.
By now you have a good idea about how important the ROI is when you are putting your efforts.
So, there you have it! These are some very fundamental factors that you shouldn't skip on. Rest is upto your efforts on idea generation and implementation.

This is a very interesting question.
To start with we have to understand that a customer is a very important individual for business. Hence we need to interact with the customer to understand the needs of the customer. Once this is done then one can either provide this from ones own produce or provide from other source. Under these conditions it is important to maintan/manage cost and quality of supply, such steps will maintain the customer for a long time.
Thus in short the most important point in any in bound markting is to satisfy the customer and meet his/her needs.
Inbound marketing focuses on creating quality content that pulls people toward your company and product, it approaches people where they are , main imp factors
