How to answer Human Resource Interview Question(3): Answer situation-specific questions

Answer situation-specific questions. You will not know ahead of time the specific questions you will be asked, but you can prepare to hear one that involves working under pressure, one that involves working with different kinds of people, one asking about issues you have ever had with management or co-workers (say none), and one about mistakes you have made during previous jobs. The interviewer might ask you what you would do in a certain situation. Try your best to relate it to a past experience and explain how you handled it then. The manager is trying to see how you operate in certain circumstances.

Be polite and be normal, we may not know what will be the question. But always be preapred or know what is the company's profile and they will always ask why do you want to join in their company. Of course we want a better job, explore our careers and we are here to earn money to help our families.

What will be the contributions to the their company? Be responsible what tasks will be given and handle it properly

Most commenly asked question is, "Please tell me about yourself?"

While asnwering this question bear in mind that they are not asking you about your own personality and what you do outside work. All they want to know is how prepared you are and how well you have read job description so its better to tell them about your previous experience, what you used to do in your previous role, how you can relate your previous role with your new role, what are common life examples of that makes you a better candidate. Be confident in your approach and hope for best.

Just be normal and relax it's the only way.

You have to choose your words, speak in a gentel way.

If available try to have sense of humar.

The main key is to make the interviewr impressed.

Note that the interviwer could be less than you in age and experience so, it's your game and you are the only one to win

Simply, provide a breif background, show the case, tell them about your solution and lessons learned. It is very important to show that the situation added some value to your life; use a simple honest, organized and direct approach as Amir said.

One needs to be very calm for answering such questions.

One needs to have presence of mind for such question otherwise one can get nervous and commit mistakes.

Everyone likes a good story and this is what made Steve Jobs presentations and buy-in so precise and efficient.

Prepare by building stories from your past employment experience - in HR for instance most professionals will be asked Behavioral questions such as: What would you do if you were on a tight deadline and was not finished yet: would you cut corners or submit unfinished work?

Think of a time this happened to you and if not, try to come up with the best realistic response.

Research the employer and make sure you know their mission, areas of focus and what caliber/type of people they hire. I would also recommend reading about the employer on (لقد تم حذف الرابط بسبب انتهاكه لسياسة الموقع. يرجى التواصل مع قسم الدعم لمزيد من المعلومات.) before the interview.
