Learn Market Research first. Understanding how to properly reach your target audience and creating your ideal customer and what makes them tick is your first step towards making it big in the marketing world. Take your time in doing the research and execute when you have enough information. That way you can minimize your overhead testing out what works, the more specific information you can get on your ideal customer the easier it will be to get their attention and call them to action.
Marketing is 80% research and 20% execution, everyone uses the same tools, it's how you use them that separates the amateur from the expert.
Once you have your audience, it's all a matter of creating a good design and running ads that convert, A/B test your ads to see what converts best and goodluck.
