This will ultimately depend on two things - what the brand would like to convey through this celebrity endorsement and the channel in which a brand's target audience can mostly be found engaging with. Nowadays we find that celebrity endorsement is increasingly used on social media, as well as online media publications but other channels such as television advertisements.

As for the actual 'how' in regards to how celebrity endorsement is used, in addition to leveraging the celebrity's audience and following, oftentimes brands would like to draw from the celebrity's persona and personal brand for potential customers to then perceive the endorsed product, service or brand with the same associations as that of the celebrity. For example, two words often used to describe basketball player Lebron James are 'strong' and 'king' due to his athleticism, and these words feature heavily in the marketing for his endorsement with Nike. This is so as to associate Nike, or the endorsed products at least, with these positive attributes that James holds.

Celebrities have a large influence over purchasing behavior of consumers, therefore they often represent a "desired state" in the eyes of the influenced consumers or potential consumers. Long story short, Celebrities are seen as extensions of what people want to be. They have a strong sense of infulence amongst people that follow them.

A celebrity stating a fact is more credible to people that follow them than if it were an expert that mentioned it.

I started to believe that brands should reduce using the famous figures in their brands , customers intelligent became more and more mature , and they know that what fits those stars usually not fitting them , so i think we should start to use normal ordinary people just in premium look

Well celebrities and specially showbiz people use several ways to advertise them selves and now social media is one of them. Another thing which we have noticed is creating controversy of get involved in things in which public has huge interest weather negative of positive. 

In advertising mostly brand campaigns, public events and shows are also the ways of seeking attention.
