The answer depends on which part of a person's well being you are targetting to enhance or solidify.
Taking the activities out for their Physical well-being is definitely better than putting them in a closed environment where there are limits to what they can do. Games, sports, team-oriented competitions are few of the activities that will help them ease off or come back to the workplace with a better mentality because of exercising not only physically but also both emotionally and mentally because of the bond made during the activities.
Aiming to create activities related to their mental and emotional well-being is better fitted to be done indoors where they can concentrate and speak or be heard without difficulties. Different results can be achieved by using different types of activities.
Company HR could one-time discuss with Management and, arrange to hire Consultant for staff motivation training program ( lecture ) possibly in a separate calm enclosure spacious hall : during working Saturday
(1) Innovation
(2) Stress Management
(3) Goal Setting
(4) Supply Chain Management

(6) Every Morning Soft Skill Reading Chapter ( one-by-one each day read clearly by Staff in Load-Speaker )
Both indoor and outdoor activities are significant for staff well-being, such programs are good at helping people adopt and maintain healthy behaviors. When I think of staff wellbeing activities I take into consideration 3 aspects; budget, Physical wellbeing and emotional & mental wellbeing.
Let’s go back to the indoor vs. outdoor activities, I believe wellbeing starts indoor, where we spend most of our time, outdoor activities build engagement and team spirit, but the core is the indoor ones.
And since we can’t reward or penalize our staff into better health, our efforts should be focused on developing an environment that supports wellbeing where the healthy choice is the easier one.
- If we are a company which sells food during breaks, we can offer discount on healthy foods
- Offer health club discounts, as a corporate it should be easy to get a discount
- Display posters in strategic locations encouraging employees to use the stairs instead of elevators
- Train on the process of “Walking meetings”, it sounds hilarious, but it is actually very effective and it boosts creativity.
- Smoke-free policy
- Create your own workplace magazine, encourage staff to participate as Editors and to share their own ideas on how to maintain wellness (Healthy recipes, Importance of drinking enough water, Importance of getting enough sleep, exercising tips, problems associated with sitting for long periods…)
- Play relaxing music
- Indoor plants
- Plan for a fitness challenge or a dance competition
- Encourage employees to develop friendships and socialize
- Counseling Services
- Awareness programs (is mobile working damaging your health?, Burnout, Work life balance, Relaxation exercise, Dealing with conflict, Cultural adjustment, workplace health, confidence in the workplace...)
both are options; depends on place and time of the year, but also on the common mood in the workplace
The cry for staff well being is a well known phenomena that call for amalgamation of measures between the labour union organizations and the Human resource management in business settings. However, from business level, the issue permeates every facet of the organization; from policy development, to the administration of core HRM functions, and to the issues of staff motivations and empowerment. As preconditions for successful staff well being, certain conditions of services must be clearly outlined and established within the policy framework of the organization. For instance, what does the organizational policy says about work safety, grievance addressing channels, employee’s rights and privileges, avenues for growth and development for staff, as well as staff health plan. These basic preconditions must be established before staff well being can thrive. Assuming these were already in place, we can think of promoting wellbeing through reward and performance systems (rewarding staff based on performance) in the organization. Reward could take the form of recognition, promotion, salary upgrade or a sponsored holiday trip or vacation, depending on the need or motivation of the staff. Again we can also promote wellbeing through staff empowerment .With empowerment, it means that we are transferring part of the management authority to staff to acts on own initiatives and take responsibilities for that; creating conducive work atmosphere; access to information and to partake in management decision making; or to train staff and develop them to occupy certain managerial positions. These avenues must be open to all staff within the organization regardless of age, sex and race. When these structures are in place, and anyone stands the equal chance of advancing himself or herself, then we can convincingly say that the organization is optimized for staff well being
Employee wellbeing is a key issue that companies are striving to address to ensure that their employees remain happy and motivated at work. After all, a happy workforce is a productive workforce.
Proven and powerful ways to boost employee wellbeing at your company.

Employee wellbeing is linked to employee engagement and productivity. we can conduct activities like fitness challenge for employees, outdoor games, education & career growth programs. You can always conduct different activities for wellbeing of staff. It can be indoor as well as outdoor. You can organise a medical camp for medical check ups or awareness of different diseases or for developing healthy eating / living habbits or for any medical advice. Same way dental camps can be organised to address different dental issues.
Like wise Social general Events like Eid Milan Party or a Dinner or a "ONE Dish each Family" Picnic at some attractive place can be organised.
In addition a sports event or a musical / Naat competition among childern can also be conducted.
A lot of other things can also be proposed and can be arranged with little resources by Institution provided there is willingness on part of management .
Doing activities that can increase the competition between the team Spread entertainment ideas among the staff, for example, to do some of the group games and for the recreation of the psychological team work on the one hand and on the other unite the team and make it work as a body one It is best to conduct activities both internally and externally and together to promote, motivate and motivate staff to work with card, creativity and creativity

In my opinion, both of them. But, Management have to put a scheduale for these activities on monthly bases, in order to reduce the stress.
