I would like to know what is the leave policy for people working in UAE,Dubai. During probation period of suppose 6 months or so, is it that you are not granted a single paid leave?If it is so, is that what the Law says?
As per Labour Law ARTICLE (83)*1. During the probationary period, the employee is not entitled to any paid sick leave.
we will slove their issues regarding their Salaries and Leave settlements regarding how much leave pay and salary.
i am security guard and i went last year on vacation in 30th DEC 2015 and this year in 2016 i want to go on vacation on 15th oct 2016 so kindly advise me on that how many days leave i can be get?

What if the employee have copmpleted6&1/2 month and resigned. Is he entitled for Leave Pay in his final settlement ?
Complete leave policy has been described in Article74 to Article90 of UAE labor law1980.
Article74 - Public Holidays:
1 - Hijra New Year - One day
2 - Christian New Year - One day
3 - Eid Al Fitr - Two days
4 - Eid Al Adha and Waqfa day - Three days
5 - Birthday of the Prophet - One day
6 - Ascension Day - One day
7 - National Day - One day
Article75 - Annual Leave per year:
1 -02 days per month if service less than one year
3 -30 days per year
Article76 - Employer has the right to decide commencement of annual leave
Article77 - Public Holidays/ Sick leave during annual leave are parts of annual leave.
Article78 - Annual Leave pay includes Basic + Housing Allowance, if leave not availed only Basic pay to be paid as leave encashment.
Article79 - Cash in lieu of annual leave not availed if he was dismissed or if he left the service, Cash in lieu of leave is calculated on the bases of pay received by the employee at the time of maturity of such leave.
Article80 - Salary + Annual leave pay to be paid before departure on leave.
Article81 - Work on holidays or rest days to be paid as wage+50% of the wage, if not compensated with a leave150% of basic pay to be paid.
Article82 - Sick leave to be reported
Article83 - (1) - No Sick leave during probation.
Article83 - (2) - Over three months after probation90 days sick leave entitlement
A. The first fifteen days with full pay.
B. The next thirty days, with half pay.
C. The subsequent period, without pay
Article84 - No sick leave pay if sickness is due to misbehavior - consumption of alchohal or narcotics.
Article85 - Termination if not report at the end of leave, EOSB to be paid.
Article86 - Resign due to sickness,45 days sick leave as per article83(2) to be paid
Article87 - Haj leave once not more than30 days
Article88 - No work during annual leave/ sick leave
Article89 - No pay if not resumed duty after leave
Article90 - No dismissal/ notice during leave
Yes , during the probation period the employee is not entitled to any paied leave as per the UAE Labour Law
