How do projects run smoothly with any loses?

I never have had experience a project that was ran smoothly or completed without any loses.

There is a common PM’s proverb which I agree with says “If the project is going exactly to plan, something somewhere is going wrong :)”

Unplanned and unsystematic projects collapsed or broke down due to lack of proper planning, government inverventiion, sudden fluctuation in material and labour cost or prices, more demand and less supply of resources, political ups and downs, war etc.. are the reasons.

Especially remaintaining the broken down project is just like to build up the sick industries. Anything and every thing, proper planning is more needed to build or rebuild which include all resouces too.
