1. Nicely greet the person on other side.
2. Sound pleasant over the phone and not like someone forced you to call him/her
3. Dont be pushy
4. Respect time and urgency if he/she is busy
5. Listen carefully before answering the queries if ther is misunderstanding he/she will loose interest as its not face to face meeting to bring it back.
6. Try not to leave dead air in between conversation as it can make you feel confused or lack knowledge.
7. Be polite and ask permission to keep him/her on hold incase your search some information.
8. Before closing always thank for time and ask if he or she needs more information and self analyse if purpose is served for what the phone call is made.
