Generally hard savings generated from Lean projects are not reflected in Company financials; is it ok?

We decide Lean projects based on the business case. If the hard savings are not reflected in the company financials, then need to question - have you successfully completed the project?

If the savings are integrated and if you can see improvement in finances due to this project, but still dont know how to segregate this number from the finances, this can be acceptable. But, if savings are not reflected or made no difference in finances, then we have not done any break through here...

Project team must revist the project...
