What you did when you first time start searching for a JOB soon after the graduation?

i did free training to increase my chances

Made in all sectors, public and private. And had fond memories.

JOB fairs at the universities,newspapers,family connections...etc.

Well! my experience was not normal I believe I was very luck person as this so rare to happened. For me after my graduation by2 months (vacation), I decided its time to look for a job; I wrote my CV and decided to visit a recruitment consultancy firm near my home to sumbit my CV. Once I have submitted my CV the consultant send me for an interview  in the same day. Immediately after I finished the interview with the GM he has informed me that I can start from next day morning.

So, I have decided to work, wrote my CV, sumbitted it and went for interview and get hired in one day.

Don't ask me how because this what happened.

I went through a paper ad and Bajaj one of the largest companies in India which used to make scooters and bikes was hriing fresh graduates for Sales there was written exam and out480 candidates30 were chosen after test and i was one of them but i couldnot join the company due to personal issues as i dint attend training and I think that was big loss for me.

At that time i was doing job while completing the Master's and after honors i was offered a better job than I  was doing but couldn't opt it due to time clash of studies and job but i was asked to update the employer about the completion of studies which i did after Masters and then joined that job and the good point from mine was strict follow-up and employer prove their commitment. Since then no looking back!!

Hi Zafar,

When I finished my Graduation, I spent a lot of my time on Job Portals similar to Bayt.com.

Also relied on newspaper advertisements from leading companies, Consultants and Networking with Seniors from my college.

The first thing i did was to ask my friends who were already employed at the companies to refer me as a  fresh graduate.  Rest applying online, job fairs and newspapers.
