For a fresh-graduate or an entry-level job seeker (& specially an interior designer) it's very difficult to get hired or find a job since almost all job vacancies require highly skilled professionals with no less than 3-5 years! If no company is willing to hire freshers, then how is it possible for them to start their career and acquire the necessary experience?
its not a circle, unless you choice to be.
there is a big difference between building a career and buildig a money
usually entry level career took aim to get a higher salary after their 1st or 2nd yr of experience, and unfortunately its a real mess if you choice this mindset. salary expectation will take you to different wrong direction of career. getting well paid takes time and competitive experience.
if you are a fresh graduate, strong portfolio is very essential for you to attract and impress potential employers, for sure you will get hired in any entry level but dont expect a good amount of salary.
after getting hired, building your skills along with experiences in your company is very esseential, dont stop learning lots of things to aim, and prepare to target a new phase of career development.
if everything run smoothly, for sure you will reach the senior post and get a chance to be hired by popular or bigger agency/company, then still dont stop learning. embarce multi tasking and discover more great potential skill that you are capable doing it in the better way. and after that, for sure time will come to steping up your career to management position and for you to be come a good decision maker.
then after a years of your career you will realize that you made on the top of your dream and well paid, then its time to move out from your desk and become an employer with your own company, then life goes on.
