To get hired you need experience,to gain experience you need to get hired! How to break this circle?

For a fresh-graduate or an entry-level job seeker (& specially an interior designer) it's very difficult to get hired or find a job since almost all job vacancies require highly skilled professionals with no less than 3-5 years! If no company is willing to hire freshers, then how is it possible for them to start their career and acquire the necessary experience?

There are a couple of ways to break this cycle: 1) Start as an intern 2) Do small projects For a fresh grad these all go towards gaining experience.
The reason employers prefer experience is that most work needs someone and that someone needs to be able to "hit-the-ground-running", because the work cannot afford a lengthy induction process.
If you are hard-working, smart., learn quickly, have kept busy [in your field] and you can prove that in an interview - you will easily break the circle.

To get a good job you need a good experience, and to gain experience, you need; 1: get an important training period in many companies, 2: get the first job, 3: get the first official function.
After that be sure that your professional skill is already begun to grow.
also don't forget the self-development and designing your career as much as possible

Internships.
Even if it means working for free for a while.
I guess this will help you gain experience.
Also volunteering.

with your confidence in your self you can break the circle..you cannot get profesional with experiance ..you get professionnal with the knowledge you have..I worked in one of the best education system with a minimum qualification of bachelors they hired me as a trainee and when i was appointed I got a pay scale of my choice...
We all got scared and loose our hope before trying something big..we make our own criteria, dat people need experianced people..Every comapny need skillful people..IF you have that spark to overcum experianced people then you don not have to worry YOU ARE HIREDDDD.:D

The first years of work are always the hardest.
But there is always a way for the hard workers.

It really is a vicious circle.
As for my example I was fortunate to start working at the firm as an architect because of the benefits that the Serbian government gave young engineers.
The company I worked for young people like to put on the fire, where I gained extensive experience in the design office and on site.
After the expiration of the contract in the next company I immediately started as the Chief architect where I gained more experience.
Now as a young CEO I formed the design office of young engineers working on a major project under my supervision.
In this way I try to somehow break this vicious circle.

for me if you can work in any career under the Interior Design name take the opportunity even if the salary is less than nothing or the place is faraway take it ...and then the first two years will pass just like a blink and the those two years its up to you how you will turn it for your own sake .....Good luck

its not a circle, unless you choice to be.

there is a big difference between building a career and buildig a money

usually entry level career took aim to get a higher salary after their 1st or 2nd yr of experience, and unfortunately its a real mess if you choice this mindset. salary expectation will take you to different wrong direction of career. getting well paid takes time and competitive experience.

if you are a fresh graduate, strong portfolio is very essential for you to attract and impress potential employers, for sure you will get hired in any entry level but dont expect a good amount of salary.

after getting hired, building your skills along with experiences in your company is very esseential, dont stop learning lots of things to aim, and prepare to target a new phase of career development.

if everything run smoothly, for sure you will reach the senior post and get a chance to be hired by popular or bigger agency/company, then still dont stop learning. embarce multi tasking and discover more great potential skill that you are capable doing it in the better way. and after that, for sure time will come to steping up your career to management position and for you to be come a good decision maker.

then after a years of your career you will realize that you made on the top of your dream and well paid, then its time to move out from your desk and become an employer with your own company, then life goes on.
