Is there any free web server storage to store and retrieve my files globally (like amazon S3)?

Hi All,

I need a place to store my small files (xml and json files) and retrieve them at any time, from anywhere on the web, to be used later in my dynamic application.
I know that amazon S3 is very useful for this but i am searching for a free web service as i am in testing mode now.

but if as you mentioned that your files are small and in format of XML and json it is better to host it with your web application, also to not face cross domain issue if you want to access these files from browser "AJAX".
