RAM - Random Access Memory part of computer hardware or the PC wont boot up if there is no RAM; ROM - Read On Memory which is USB, HDD, CD DVD good for storage ;-) .. am I right Sir, if not.. ouch
RAM: Random Access Memory
ROM: Read Only Memory
The main difference is RAM is volatile it means if you switch off the power data will be removed.
ROM is non volatile that means even you switch off the power data will not be removed.Like as Hard Disc, Compct Disc etc.
RAM is Random Access Memory (virtual memory) used for virtual processing which is for speeding up the processes. If you used more RAM you can work on more softwares at one time.
ROM is Read only memory which is like CD/DVD ROM,...
In addition RAM are the module that can be added to increase the memory, ROM are usually sytem specific and we do not touch unless there is specific reason, eg, computer issue due to BAD rom we need to replace
RAM: Random Access MemoryROM: Read Only Memory RAM is volatile i.e. its contents are lost when the device is powered off.The two main types of RAM are static RAM and dynamic RAM.ROM is non-volatile i.e. its contents are retained even when the device is powered off.The types of ROM include PROM, EPROM and EEPROM.
