What would be an innovative idea for a new solution, service or product to help people in the field of renewable energy?

Dears ; There's many innovative ideas for electrical systems :1 - Kindly try using DC electrical loads instead of AC electrical loads ( lighting, TV, refrigerator ...)2 - Hybrid systems has many advantages concerning battery system, and trust no blackouts .3 - If there isn't additional power source you can use exercise equipment to generate energy for home solar system .

Right now, Hybrid energy systems answers much of the intermittency problems of standalone renewable systems yet efficiency is still quite low for these systems. Using Piezo-electric transducers to generate energy is also a considerable option but costs are very high if compared to efficieny. There is some research going on in the UK and EU to harness energy from fusion reactions aswell but till now, they had not been able to acheive any considerable results.

Talking about the future, Using Hydrogen as a fuel has the potential to take over the energy patterns of the future. Although this is being tested in the initail stages in Europe and UK, still it has a very long way to go because of the technology constraints and challenges in containment of hydrogen.

First of all, in order to provide an innovative solution there has to be a real problem spotted.
So, this is actualy what we are searching; problems that need to be solved.
A major problem in the photovoltaic field is the panel's efficiency reduction due to high ambient temperature.
The cooler the panel remains, there is better conduction between the cells and the energy of the photons is transformed to voltage potential without significant losses.
I think a good idea in the field of renewable energy is a cooling system that could keep the surface of the panels at reasonable temperatures to optimize efficiency.
That might be a fan-type system with fins installed on the back of the panel or a simple water cooling system.
It is quite a challenge , though, to keep the initial cost low enough for the product to be viable.
