I think that there are no differences between both. It depends on people in themselves, ie, their background, experience, skills, and so on. However, it is true to say that women has a special touch for this kind of job.
Who has better skills and knowledge no matter its a female or a male.
Anyone who has strong inter personal skills and strong knowledge about organizations's HR policy is better HR manager. It has nothing to do with demographics.
I heard from somewhere that females are comparatively better for this position. Because they are more patient and flexible in handling trade unions, grievances, good listener, etc
Is there any fact in that?
In my opinion there is no difference between them it depends upon their links in field and market.
Why to discriminate? A thorough "HR" wins :)
