While many classes concentrate on having students answer questions, real life does not work this way. Do you agree?

I totally agree with you. There is a barrier between school education and real life skills.Where is the role of critical thinking?Where is thinking? where are problem solving skills?Outside schools ,we teach kids cooperation. If student try to copy an answer from a classmate ,it will be considered cheating. He will tell you that he tries to be cooperative.Students get information easily via internet and face boring educational system where the teacher only give directions. We need interaction in our schools. We need new creative methods instead of sleeping on the school desk.Do you know that schools were made for industrial purposes during enlightment age and they are still run in the same way like factories.

Yes, I agree but not on a grammar school level. There are limited experiences for elementary students. This would be great for high school and college students since elementary students are really not looking into the real life at that age. However it would be great for teachers to incorporate real life experiences with lessons being taught to open the child's mind to critical thinking, and being open minded when these issues do come alive in real life.
