Customer feedback is a vital part to know business performance. Which method do you prefer ? And Why ? For Example - Survey, Direct Interviews, Email , Internet based feedback , Service feedback slips etc.
I would choose the methods of direct communication and indirect. Note for Customers

Ask for it and follow up on getting it. The methods changes from one customer to another. I usually ask the customer for his/her preferred method and use it.
Usually, customers and clients disregard feedback as they view it as an unecessary process that provides not extra gain. Especially that they doubt it would ever be reviewed, which makes them feel that it will be a lost effort from their side. Which is why I believe Direct Interviews is the best method into conducting efficient feedback and gives the customer a feeling that their opinion matters.
Surveys...Because it is applicable in all types/kinds of business you are engaged.
informal face to face meeting is magical
its differ from custome to another , but i think it depends on the needs for each customer as i must know it well and work on it to know well how to make it happen and if my company can't make it come ture i must look for another Alternatives to make it happen.
