Is English the most important language to learn?

Dear ,it is not ont only important but also an international tool of exchanges of views.

As most of the countries speak English Language and there are many languages which each country speaks so keeping a common language as communication medium makes sense thats why people prefer to learn english and communicate in same language to reach globally.

First place going to english.   Spanish is the second most common language in the world. It's also considered one of the easier languages to learn, so it's good if you have never learned an additional language before. Once you learn a second language and your brain is able to think in two languages, learning a third and fourth are much easier. That's why it's a good idea to start with an easy language like Spanish. Chinese (Cantonese or Mandarin, which are2 different Chinese languages) would be good for business. But those are obviously very difficult languages to learn a second languages for the reasons I stated above (but as a third or fourth language it might be OK). Arabic would be good for business too. But is very difficult and most Arabs in business speak English anyways. I wouldn't consider Portuguese to be a priority to learn, unless you were planning to move to or do business with Brazil of Portugal. Once you learn Spanish, learning Portuguese should be relatively easy. Another possible language to consider which is almost as common as Spanish in the world, would be French.
