There are a lot of tools for both On Page and Off Page. The most important we have to use are:
Google Analytics , Google Keyword Research Tool & Google Webmaster tool to track your Website Visitors, Keywords Ranking, Impressions for Specific Keywords and on Page factors.
There are others third Part tools for Link Building , but you need to think twice before using it, because if you used them aggressively it will create problem for website and definitely for you:)
SEO is not easy as it was before. Most of the people think that you just need to create links and you will be on top. That's great! :)
