What are the major fields that PR department are in charge of in a company or an organization?

Other then employee communication and goverment affair,s PR department is also responsible for advocacy communication with media, community, and stakeholders. It comes under PR activities to provide proactive information and updates to the above mentioned publics.

Organizing news conferences or special event for a product, organization or an individual (celebrity) also comes under PR department.

The major responsibility of PR (Public Relations ) is deal with the company and employees issues out side of the company with the related Govt.  / semi Govt. authorities. And facilitate the things for the company and employees as well, in addition with the focusing and propagating the company activities to the others.
