Which practice is important growing brand image than sales; what brand image are we talking of here, is it the image attributes of the brand team (brand story board, positioning, etc) or the consumers perception of the brand, think we should be talking here of the later since its associated to sales.
Think we can grow brand image in two ways, negatively (poor or no sales) or positively (sales and greater sales).
Here we will consider the positive scenario.
From the above perspective of growing brand image we should duel on communication; What are we communicating and How is it done.
The what we should be communicating on should be the brand values (real values) and or the DPP (direct product profitability).
Communicating on the brand values and or DPP, we should highlight and emphasis on all or the key brand values and if these values are perceive by consumers as real and true, we must have developed on brand image, Secondly, the how, this will be translated through efficiency in all we do at all levels, all actions should be backed by quality and exactitude - professionalism, ethics, efficiency, and applying the possible best practices in industry, these will also grow brand image.
Not withstanding, a strong and efficient distribution network can equally develop on brand image even of a mediocre brand; it may not be long lasting for the mediocre brands but it must have saved the company from financial mess or embarrassment.
