As a production manager in a large company, How do you rate your performance in relation to :- 1- Education 2- Experience 3- Managerial skills

It takes some time from experience to make us expert in a particular field. Education greatly expedite our thinking and apporach to the job and making our learning curve faster. Managerial skills is a learnt skilled and applied to our daily jobs.

 

They are pepople who is good as a Production Manager although without higher education but education expedite understanding and knowledge far more faster. 

 

Sometimes, experience can be wrong or less effective but we never realised it until someone pointed to us the better way.

 

Managerial skills must be learnt and applied. Otherwise, we are only good in theory but failed in application.

 

Therefore, all the three are essential to make us a good Production Manager.

I think you can measure your performance on the success of what the output is on your production line. You can have all the eduction,  experience and managerial skills known to man but if your output doesnt reach expectations then unfortunately its your job thats on the line. You are the one responsible for the the production line not the person at the back.

In any means the more education means more you will evaluate or explore. should have education related to designation and process of the plant in every aspect of plant process.

 

At least you should have a experience to command the new things at earliest which can be achieved by the curiosity inside ur self. Should know every aspect of process, quality, time and cost. should be able to handle every level of employee.

 

as being a manager should know good way to deliver your thoughts and orders and have a motivational abilites. team leader with softened attitude. behave in a way so people may trust you and respect. treat every one as a human.
