I used to tell my students the story of someone who seeks the credit for things been done without taking part, this person , when reports the actions been performed he ignores the doers: the passive. On the other hand, if you want to give the credit to the doers you mention them: the active.

It's a wide area but for the purposes of your question l can narrow it down to this:Active usually applies to action that is current or was current at some given point or something that happens often. The doer is always the subject since the action centres around them.Passive  on the other hand becomes something that happened at some stage, was on-going at a past time or happens always. The difference is seen in that in Passive the doer comes at the end,''the action was performed BY Nicholas.I have deliberately put BY in capital letters as an indicator that Passive is differentiated by that from Active.

In fact, I have no knowledge of the teaching of the English language, but I think that the rules relating to the exercise of the lesson and training to resolve an ongoing basis and give numerous examples help students understand the lesson and implanting in their minds

It depends on the students' level. There are some lessons on the passive voice that really need deep understanding.

The best way is to put it throgh a game. For example to devide the class in two teams one the passive and one the active and let the students provide sentenses using the right form and the team that win will gain a good gift. You can be creative in designing the game according to the age of your students.
